If you get the chance, visit the General Store in Stone City, IA. When your done, travel the 3 miles to Anamosa to visit the Iowa State Penitentiary. I'm surprised you didn't know, but John Wayne Gacy served some time there. Pork Tenderloins & Clown Serial Killers...what could be a more wholesome way to spend a Saturday afternoon in Iowa?
