Today we bought our train tickets and headed to Seoul. It took us about 3 hours by train which beat the cheap alternative of riding a bus for over 7. Once there we got checked into our value motel and then headed for the South Korean War Museum. The Museum was full of war artifacts, weapons, stories, and machinery. Some of the real cool stuff was actually outside where they displayed tanks, planes and some very impressive monuments. Enjoy the pictures! [View with PicLens] ... more
My Cajun Breakfast Hash Recipe
Thought I would share my Cajun Breakfast Hash Recipe. My family loves it, maybe yours will too. Ingredients: 1 Bag Simply Potato Hash Browns 1 Green Bell Pepper (red, orange or yellow are also good) cubed 1/2 Medium Sized Onion – cube – use the whole thing if you don’t care about your breath that day. 6-8 eggs 3/4 lb Ground Spicy Italian Sausage Louisiana Cajun Seasoning – “goes good on everything” 1/4 cup cooking oil Heat up oil, I would say about 1/4 cup, in electric skillet (mine has about the area of a 9 x 11 cake pan). Once it is nice and hot (350 degrees mine says) pour in Simply Potato hash browns and spread them evenly. While those start to brown spread the sausage over the hash browns, I just pull off small size chunks. Next, slice up green pepper and onion into cube sized pieces and spread on hash browns. Sprinkle a decent amount of cajun seasoning over everything. At this time you should be able to turn everything. Now, I add the eggs in... more

South Korea Day 6 (photos) – A Day at the Beach
Today we decided to check out one of Busan’s main beaches, Haeundae. It was really fun to see South Koreans at the beach. A majority of them don’t even appear to have swimsuits on! We even seen one lady in her tube with high heels on. Another man decided he didn’t need swim trunks at all and was just strolling down the beach pantless. From there we headed down the shoreline along the rocky side of the beach. There was a walkway that aloud us to be right on the rocks. It was a... more
South Korea – Day 5 (photos) – Haedong Yonggung Temple
Today we headed to Haedong Yonggung Temple. This temple is unique in that most of the Korean temples are in the hills. Haedong Yonggung is right on the shore of the East Sea. The rock shores and waves crashing down on them make for the perfect backdrop for a beautiful temple. Enjoy the pictures! [View with PicLens] ... more
