South Korea – Day 5 (photos) – Haedong Yonggung Temple

Today we headed to Haedong Yonggung Temple. This temple is unique in that most of the Korean temples are in the hills. Haedong Yonggung is right on the shore of the East Sea. The rock shores and waves crashing down on them make for the perfect backdrop for a beautiful temple. Enjoy the pictures!

My Cajun Breakfast Hash Recipe

Thought I would share my Cajun Breakfast Hash Recipe.  My family loves it, maybe yours will too. Ingredients: 1 Bag Simply Potato Hash Browns 1 Green Bell Pepper (red, orange or yellow are also good) cubed 1/2 Medium Sized Onion – cube 6-8 eggs 3/4 lb Ground Spicy Italian Sausage Louisiana Cajun Seasoning – “goes good on everything” 1/4 cup cooking oil Heat up oil, I would say about 1/4 cup, in electric skillet (mine has about the area of a 9 x 11 cake pan). Once it is nice and hot (350 degrees mine says) pour in Simply Potato hash browns and spread them evenly. While those start to brown spread the sausage over the hash browns, I just pull off small size chunks. Next, slice up green pepper and onion into cube sized pieces and spread on hash browns. Sprinkle a decent amount of cajun seasoning over everything. At this time you should be able to turn everything. Now, I add the eggs in two different ways and it does affect the taste. 1. Day 3 found us lost in a huge department store and eating the “wrong” thing! So we end up losing a day somewhere in there, I don’t know what happen! We woke at 5:30a.m. because Sarah was done sleeping and I actually felt really good after 3 hours of sleep. We headed across the street to the Sunkus, local convienant store looking for coffee. It appears that coffee in a can is the way to go around here so we settled for one of those to get our day going.
